Seeing the galleries, farms and markets of Tasmania, the place that I next visited was museums. Museums have this kind of incredible aura in the air. One looses themselves in the master-pieces that are kept on display. I saw the Albany Old Gaol Museum, which offers a enthralling look back to the era of convicts in the mid 1800s.You can walk through the Albany and through the cell blocks reading the colorful history of the Gaol which was quite controversial. In the museum we can see the carvings of the Aboriginal prisoners in the 1870s which are fascinating. I was told that this museum is famous for its night tour where ghosts were found at times haunting the Gaol. Recently this museum went in for an extensive restoration to make it back to its original appearance. The materials found there trace back to the first and second World Wars. This historical museum is located a little far from the city Perth. The historic coastal town offers massive amount of attraction, historical sites and magnificent coastline to explore.
